Author Kelsey Anne Lovelady to Make Guest Appearance at Halloween Geek and Grub Festival

Tea With Coffee Media author Kelsey Anne Lovelady will be at Raleigh, North Carolina’s Geek and Grub Market on Saturday, October 22. She will be there to promote her upcoming release, Permanent Reminders: A Jaz Dilan Mystery. The book will officially be released on October 25 at most major shops, but you can get your hands on an advanced copy at the Halloween Geek and Grub Marketplace in Raleigh’s Fred Fletcher Park (820 Clay Street).

“I’m so happy to join the festival this year,” says Lovelady. “I wouldn’t have it any other way than to be with Tea With Coffee Media. This company is truly a dream come true and I can’t wait to share my first murder mystery with you all.”

Permanent Reminders is the first murder mystery following Jasmine Dilan in the Jaz Dilan Mystery series. Jaz’s world is turned upside down when a young woman mysteriously dies. For the New York Tattoo artist, this death holds a far greater significance than any other death to happen in New York. Not only does it look like it could have been murder, but the victim has a tattoo signature of the serial killer Seth Frost. And Frost is supposed to be serving a life sentence on the other side of the country. It’s up to Jaz to find out what really happened… if only so she can put the past behind her.

Kelsey  Anne Lovelady was born in Billings, but she spent her formative years in Bozeman. She relocated to Shawnee Mission, Kansas with her family when she was fifteen. She remained a resident of the area from her junior year of high school until she received her Associate of Arts in Arts and Sciences from Johnson County Community College. She wrote her first novel, STAFROGED: Orion, while a student at the University of Wyoming, where she majored in musical theatre and minored in writing. The True Troupe of Cheyenne staged her 10-minute play “How Are You?” as part of the 2019 Wrights of Wyoming Playwrighting Festival, marking her theatrical debut. Kelsey has published articles in the online literary publications In The Pantheon and In the Crescent.

“We’re grateful to all of the merchants that take the time to join our marketplaces,” says Erin Dunphy Dean, founder of the Geek and Grub Marketplace. “While Tea With Coffee Media is a newbie to our marketplace, we’re excited for their announcement of Kelsey Anne Lovelady making an appearance to launch her latest book early exclusively at our marketplace. We look forward to seeing Kelsey, Tea With Coffee Media, all of our vendors, and the geeky community this weekend.”

The Geek and Grub Market was established in the Covid era to serve as a friendly, open-air meeting place for people with similar interests. The public is invited to attend any of the free Geek & Grub Markets, which often have thirty or more nerdy vendors, two or more food trucks, gigantic games, live music, and entertaining activities with a geeky theme.

Tyler Wittkofsky is a multi-genre author, blogger, award-winning marketing and communications professional, and fierce mental health advocate from the southern coast of North Carolina. Tyler has been writing short stories for as long as he can remember. Growing up the grandson of an English teacher, Tyler had a constant fuel to his creative fire in his grandmother. He started writing poetry in 2012 to cope with his mental health struggles with anxiety, bipolar, and depression. Using poetry as an escape, he developed a unique style of poetry that has left readers saying, “Tyler’s voice is compassionate, even while suffering, and I felt the despair and loneliness seeping out through his words.” His first poetry collection, composed of poems written from 2012 to 2016, was published in March 2020. He began his first novel in 2019. The novel, (Not) Alone, was a story based on true events surrounding the struggles of living with mental illness. Described by readers as “An Intimate Closure with Mental Illness,” this began Tyler’s revitalized passion for mental health. He decided that his writing would have a focus on mental health. His next novel, The Seeds of Love: Sunflower Kisses Book One, was his debut romance novel and debut series. Described as “a great job of relaying the realistic emotions of young love and emotional drama that is particularly difficult for young adults…”, his debut romance novel was met with much success. In 2021, Tyler began writing short stories. He was accepted into several anthologies in mid-2021, expected for publication in early 2022. He also writes supernatural horror and historical fantasy for the online magazines In the Pantheon and In the Crescent. He has work published through Five Minute Affairs as well. He built his website www.TeaButWithCoffee.com in 2021. On this site, he started his blogging journey. He began writing book reviews, interviewing indie authors, and writing on mental health. This passion sparked a new desire to connect with more people. Tyler is currently in the beginning stages of two podcasts that he hopes to be live by the end of 2021. Tyler currently lives in Leland, North Carolina with his wife, Grace, and dogs, Dutch and Belle. You can find him and his works here: https://linktr.ee/wittkofsky
